Friends of Lane Cove National Park

Friends of LCNP have been helping to conserve and protect it for more than 25 years. Join the bushcare volunteers to make a positive difference to the environment.

You might be planting trees, removing weeds, or replanting after bushfires. Experience is not necessary, and you’ll get on-the-spot training and workshops. It is a wonderful way to meet people with similar interests, as well as learn about the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of Lane Cove National Park.

You’ll get plenty of gentle exercise and as a bonus, free entry into NSW National Parks. The group meets in the Christie Park car park at 9am on the third Saturday of each month. Wear long sleeves, long pants, strong shoes, and a hat. Bring sunscreen and water.

You can choose from more than twenty regular bushcare sites around the park. You can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly on every day of the week.

See the website to find the one that best suits you.
