Mecwacare

Mecwacare supports older people and people with disabilities. Volunteer with Mecwacare if you want to give back to the community and feel good about helping people. You can work in a wide range of volunteer roles depending on your skills and how much time you have. You could help with social support for activity groups, such as arts and crafts, cards and games, music, and dance. If you prefer you can transport people to appointments or outings, help with gardening, maintenance, or admin. You could also brighten someone’s day with a social visit for a cuppa, a chat, and a walk, or bring along your pet. It’s a wonderful way to lend a hand, offer friendship, and support the organisation. You’ll stay active and involved in your community and meet people while you volunteer.
