First Nations Campfire

Tingkabee

Tingkabee offers a wide range of First Nations art and culture services in Alice Springs. It’s Alice Springs’ premier First Nations art and cultural centre. It is owned and operated by Arrernte lady, Kumalie (Rosalie) Riley. You can connect to culture and other First Nations people in the Alice region. Join one of the Aboriginal Art and Craft Workshops or the Arrernte Language Beginners’ Classes. Learn to paint and understand traditional Arrernte symbols and designs with an Arrernte Elder. Classes are for two hours and are held regularly on Saturdays and Sundays. Bookings are essential.
