Adaptive crochet needles have a soft grip and tend to be slightly larger than normal to make them easier to hold. Most brands have a silicon handle or similar that makes the needles less slippery and larger. If you have trouble finding needles you can use or you want to keep your existing needles, you can also buy crochet needle holders. Adaptive crochet needles are useful if you suffer upper limb weakness, arthritis, fatigue, pain, or have difficulty concentrating.
