What is a drawer dishwasher?

A drawer dishwasher has a washing compartment that slides out like a drawer, rather than opening on a hinge like traditional dishwashers.

Most models fit under the kitchen bench, while some smaller models can be installed on top of the kitchen worktop. Installing the dishwasher at the right height means no bending down to load and unload the dishwasher.

It's useful if you find it difficult to bend or squat, have limited reach, you lack arm strength, or you have poor balance.
